Who we are

'a little lively' is a small, creative company with a strong background in business and design, and a commitment to use the skills we've inherited from generations of amazing women to create quality products made in Midwest America.

On a personal note.....

There is a personal side to 'a little lively', too. I have been blessed with a mother, grandmothers, and dear friends who have always been willing to share their textiles knowledge and talent. Through them, I have learned to embrace these very same skills as my creative outlet.

Inspired by an author who wrote about the decision to juggle motherhood and writing a novel (her own creative outlet), I decided to set aside some time to take up my hobby again and create my own designs. This "return to my roots" brought me such a sense of pride - and I imagined that there were others who, like me, would cherish some time of their own to create and produce quality handmade products using the skills they learned from their mothers, their grandmothers, and others who value the art of sewing. 'a little lively' evolved - and continues to grow based on this simple ideal.

We love making quality products that are one-of-a-kind. Finding the perfect blend of functional concept, mood-inspiring fabrics, and quality construction is our top priority. I hope that your family loves our products as much as we love creating them.
